Blowtorches are a very important tool in construction, performing a lot of tasks, some almost everybody know about and others only a few know.
We can expect people to know that they are used as a welding tool to join pieces of metal and fix damaged sections. Blow torches are also used to cut metal when they aren’t made to specification.
There are other types of torches used for different tasks which require a less intense heat. These tools are used for when you’re dealing with less heat resistant materials, such as with petroleum products. A great example of when these are used is in water-proofing; where rolls of petroleum based products are rolled out to give a layer of protection against moisture; using a torch to make the surface more sticky can increase the lifespan of the product.
